Revolutionizing Healthcare Training

Who Are We

One of the FIRST private SIM labs in India

Our goal is to revolutionize healthcare training in India using Simulation-based clinical education. Clinical education in nursing aims to integrate theoretical knowledge from books into practical knowledge in real-life situations and to help students develop their problem-solving skills. Due to rapid changes in clinical placements, patient safety issues, and ethical concerns, students’ direct experience with patient care and opportunities to handle problem-based clinical situations have been diminished. Like education in general in India, healthcare training devotes considerable time and focus towards theory, often at the cost of practical know-how. When medicine and nursing students graduate, they are likely to have limited clinical exposure, thereby leading to lack of confidence when they are facing real life clinical scenarios.

THE TRAINING METHODOLOGY

Active scenario
A typical batch of 25 students is broken down into groups of 5. The groups are immersed in life like scenarios with a brief and background They are then made to partake in the scenario under the watchful eyes of our staff, without their intervention.
De-Briefing
Post the scenario, students are brought together in a classroom for a De-Briefing session. The De-Briefing, led by our moderator, is a period of reflection and assessment. Theories and clinical knowledge are imparted in these sessions.
Application and Repetition
Any training is incomplete if students aren’t given the chance to apply what they have learnt. Here, the application is almost immediate. Students re-visit scenarios and practice procedures to ensure the learning is ingrained in their memories.

The courses comprise of modules that are 1-7 days long. Each day we take participants (Batch of 25 Max) through 6-7 different scenarios in the above format.

Simulation is flexible and can cover almost any topic, including 80% of College Curriculums.

Topics Include (but are not limited to) Cardiac Care, OBGYN, Respiratory Ailments, Wound Care, Post Operative Care, Practical Nursing etc.
